Track one

Learn to love yourself, and your body, again.

After assault. When the body stopped feeling like somewhere you live.

You have probably done a great deal already.

Reported it or decided not to. Told someone or carried it alone. Sat with a good therapist for months or years and understood a great deal about what happened to you.

And the body is still not yours.

That is not a failure of the work you did. Understanding lives in one place. The disconnection lives somewhere else, and nothing you have been offered so far was built to reach it.

A note before this section: it names sexual response during assault.

The wound almost no one will name

There is one wound so silencing that many survivors have never said it aloud to anyone.

That their body responded during the assault.

The shame that leaves behind is crushing. It whispers that a reaction means wanting, and that wanting means it was not really assault. Some people shut down all feeling afterwards, for years, to make certain they can never be confused that way again.

So let this be said clearly, because it is the truth. Arousal is a reflex, not consent. A physical response is automatic, like flinching, or your mouth watering at the smell of food. It is not desire. It is not agreement. Your body did not betray you, and it did not give permission you never gave.

This is one of the first things RECLAIMED helps you understand. In time, it helps you feel it.

What the work is

RECLAIMED runs on the HOPE Method. Four phases, worked in order.

H

Honour

Naming without shame. Anatomy as neutral fact, with full permission to feel whatever arises.

O

Orient

Finding safety first. Your window of tolerance and your grounding anchor, established before anything else is asked of you.

P

Presence

Coming back into contact, gently. Reclaiming the gaze, then safe self-loving touch, beginning far from the body and moving inward only by consent, only ever as far as feels right.

E

Embody

From tolerance to tenderness. Meeting whatever arises, including no, honoured as information and never as failure.

What it is, and what it is not

  • It is not sexual. Nothing here is about arousal or performance. It is about safety, ownership and self-compassion.
  • It is entirely opt out. Every practice can be paused, repeated or skipped. There is no behind.
  • It is paced by you. You work only inside your window of tolerance. Present, never overwhelmed.
  • It comes later, not first. You reach the sensitive material only after safety and grounding are built.
  • It is for survivors of all genders.

Held safely

Content warnings before anything difficult. Opt outs on every practice. Grounding tools available at any point. A crisis referral pathway built into the course, not bolted on.

There is a clinician hand off note you can give your therapist, so they can walk this alongside you rather than finding out afterwards.

RECLAIMED is a complement to professional care. Never a replacement for it.

If menopause is also in this

Some people arrive here in their forties and fifties and find that what surfaced was not hormonal.

Old material has a way of coming back up when the body changes. If both are true for you, you are in the right place, and the menopause material is available to you at no extra cost. You do not have to choose which wound to name first.

The work no one else will do with you.

That is the reason RECLAIMED exists. When you are ready, we walk it together.
